Are the effects immediate?

No, we recommend a minimum of 3 treatments to see visible results; however, some people have excellent results with fewer treatments too.

Does it hurt?

PRP treatment involves taking a small blood sample from your arm, similar to what you might have done when you had a blood test at your doctor's office. After separating the plasma from the blood, it is re-injected back into your scalp. This process uses a very fine, short needle, so there is minimal discomfort for you. We also use a local anaesthetic cream to help reduce the sensation of pain.

Are there any side effects?

PRP treatment uses your own blood cells to stimulate hair regrowth. There is a very low risk of side effects from this treatment. The treatment is carried out using sterile syringes and needles, so the risk of infection is minimised as much as possible.
